The Pentecost Church of God in Christ is rich and full. Its ministry reaches the very heart of Garland, TX community. Pentecost Church of God in Christ, located in the center of Garland, reaches out to meet the many needs of the people. The church’s mission is to touch the core of humanity with the gospel, truth and compassion of Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Mission of Pentecost Church of God in Christ

Pentecost Church is in the Garland, TX community, sent by God for His express purpose. We are sent to be a light to those in darkness ad to show others the way to Christ who is eternal life. Our church is a lighthouse and many come for assistance of various and sundry kinds. We help those who we feel God’s leading to do so, and as we have provisions to do so. Pentecost Church provides food for the hungry, clothes for the naked, money for rent, heat/utilities, transportation and other urgent requests.

The Greeters:	Welcome YOU with a smile at the door
The Ushers:	Extend a hand of welcome and comfortably seat YOU
The Praise & Worship Team:	Praising helps to put YOUR mind into an attitude of worship
The Voices of Faith Choir:	Singing will inspire YOU to clap your hands and praise the Lord
The Youth Choir & The Young Voices of Faith:	Will put YOU in awe as they praise the Lord in song and dance
The Word of God is Taught:	Powerful teaching for YOU according to the Holy Bible
Elders, Ministers, Deacons, Evangelists & Missionaries:	The ministerial staff are available to pray for and minister to YOU during the Altar Call. They also will preach in the pastor’s absence.

Church Membership

All persons desiring to become a member of Pentecost Church of God in Christ are required to complete the New Member Information Card and attend the required Membership classes to become official members. Please contact the church office for details.
